Aide traduction Nock To Tip Archery Overhaul

"Perhaps you have heard of my master, the late Tress Bluethorn, a once famed hunter from Woodhearth in western Valenwood. Or perhaps, like so many I meet on the road today, you have not. Tress would not mind his eventual obscurity. More than once, as we ate our fill at some shady inn while bards regaled the patrons with story and song--more than once he told me, “Leave fame and heroism to the gods. Whose name should be more famed than Y’ffre, more than Auri-El, more than Mara? It is not the place of men or mer to raise themselves up. If you will be known for something, be known for putting food in the mouths of your friends and family. That is fame befitting a mortal.”

I found it amusing that his own name soon found its way into lyrics and tales throughout Valenwood. Tress merely found it annoying. I laughed at his discomfort. I worship Baan Dar, you see. The trickster god. The Pariah. I admired my masters humility, his dedication to the craft of bow and arrow, his purity of thought, but I always felt he took himself too seriously for a Bosmer. He lacked a certain recklessness that my people have always cherished. I felt his civility might one day be his undoing, and indeed it was.
Tress had taught me everything he knew. How to stand. How to draw. The art of accuracy, release and follow-through. Then how to dress a kill, which parts to cook, and which to save for other uses. He taught me well, and one day the time had come for me to leave his tutelage. It was a happy occasion, and we decided to return to Woodhearth together to celebrate.
On the road, no more than a days walk from our destination, we were set upon by a group of desperate Imga--wood orcs, some call them. There were four of them, clearly in a bad way, wearing nothing, emaciated, with hunger in their eyes. If they had asked for help, I have no doubt Tress would have given them the rest of our food. Instead, they ran at us, screaming.
My once-master was several paces ahead of me. Thinking back on it, I am not sure why he drew his bow, rather than his knife. Perhaps it was instinct. The bow was not just a tool, it was a part of him, as he used to say. In any case, seeing him bring up his bow triggered the same response in me, and I found myself taking the stance. Tress, however, found himself being clubbed from all sides before he could nock an arrow.
I managed to put two of the Imga down as they charged me. I had no time to go for my knife. My heart sank, and I felt certain it was the end. The nearest one drew back his arm for a great swing, and in that instant I felt as if Baan Dar himself inspired me. Who needs a knife? I thrust out with my bow, leaning into the punch, and the wood orc flew back, stunned. The second one tried to sweep my feet, but I hopped over the attack and lashed out once more. He fell back. I put an arrow in each of them before they could stand.

Tress Bluethorn was an excellent archer and hunter, and an excellent teacher of those things he knew how to teach. He was generous to a fault, and more pious than most. But he lacked the chaotic spirit that makes us Bosmer who we are. In the end, his lack of cleverness, of spontaneity, did him in. Learn from his mistake, and live. "

Merci^^
