Happy New Year!
The Fighters Guild Quests project did not go exactly as planned, but turned out better than most group modding projects. The deadline for completion was 11-11-11. The project was a time-filler until Skyrim came out. We had four modders, and the other three were really slow to do anything at the beginning of the project. Then suddenly when the deadline was approaching, they started turning in tons and tons of work. More than I had ever expected to be turned in. The work was of low quality and required lots of editing and debugging. Strangely, none of the modders were interesting in play-testing and debugging and in doing quality control work. They just want to build stuff (buggy stuff.) The deadline came, and we just barely managed to upload the mod in a beta WIP state. I was kind of ticked off because this put me in the situation of needing to do a couple more weeks of debugging and polishing work after Skyrim was available. A couple of the modders wanted to keep on adding stuff after Skyrim came out, but neither one actually did build and submit anything after that point. So I think it is safe to say that there will not be anymore quests added unless someone takes up the project again sometime. The mod could probably do with another complete play-through and debugging, but it is such a huge mod that it takes forever to play.
So at this point, the mod will probably have a few more bugfix and typographical error fix updates, but there are not plans to make major changes and additions. So it would be fairly safe to translate. (And if most of the problems are with grammar and spelling and English usage, all that would be removed by a French translation anyway.)
So you would be welcome to translate the mod into French. Your translating is a very kind service that you provide for French-speaking Oblivion fans. I am sure they really appreciate what you do.
Sincerely,
Du coup, j'ai entamée la traduction dudit mod dans sa version 1.3 ! Il me faudra un testeur ... Tu t'y colleras Paneb ?
